INDUCED AIR-GAS FLOTATORS
| All induced air-gas flotation units function with air or gas bubbles induced into a stream of water. In contact with the contaminants coalesced by the action of added chemicals, the bubbles rise driving the impurities to the surface, from where they are skimmed out of the system. |

Two ways are available to induce air or gas into the liquid. By mechanical aerators or by ejectors, mixing the air (gas) together with the liquid. The reduction of contaminants using the normal quantity of chemicals is 90% to 95% depending on quality and quantity of impurities into the feed. |
