Altieri A. Srl is an Italian company specialised in the manufacture of stainless steel equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
Founded in 1922, in Milan, as a simple carpentry, after the Second World War the company began production of equipment for the chemical industry. Since then, we have always designed and supplied stainless steel equipment in Italy and abroad; the vast experience we have acquired can be seen today in the quality of our final products. Our workshop located in Melegnano has an indoor surface of 6.000 sq.m (500 sq.m for office), placed on a total area of 18.000 sq.m.

At present, our main production range includes the design and construction of reactors, tube heat exchanges, synthesis and distillation plants, dryers, rectification columns, fermentors, high pressure autoclaves, storage vessels, and other more complex equipment . If required, we can assemble and install our plants on the customer's premises.

All our production is designed according to Italian pressure vessel code I.S.P.E.S.L., but we have also designed and manufactured equipment tested by other codes, such as French CODAP and American ASME.

We also have great knowledge in building equipment with quick closure/opening rotating systems, moved by extreme pressure oil system and the possibility to make external and internal mirror surfaces, mechanically polished up to 0,05 m medium warrant, in accordance with FDA requirements (also for high capacity vessels). The material employed in the construction of our equipment is generally stainless steel 316L/304, but we can also work with various types of alloy, such as Hastelloy, Incoloy, Uranus ect.
We are also equipped with our own x-ray device for weld testing and appropriate dark room for development

We warrant the perfect execution of our products: we always check the quality of the employed materials and, at the same time, we test the reliability of our usual suppliers in order to supply our customers with the best equipment.
Our company is ISO 9001 Quality System compliant and our equipment is supplied in accordance to CEE declarations of conformity.
